Storing follow up dates, kids birthdays, et al...by rodzilla ()A question from a client: "I can't figure out where you can input notes, additional contacts, kids birthdays...Can you let me know where that info. is entered?" There are three Journal fields that will each hold 32,000 characters for notes. You can use the Template Manager ($19.95 add on product) to customize any of the data fields for follow up dates, kids birthdays, etc. Four standard templates are included - one for real estate, one for B2B sales, one for B2C sales, and one for IT Consulting. For example, the B2C template has a fields for "Next Step" and "Next Date". The program also uses Outlook's contacts and appointments as it's own - so you can add/modify/delete that same kid's birthday/spouses name/Admin's phone number type information from either Desktop Sales Manager or Outlook. This last idea may be a little different than you might expect - but it is very, very powerful. |
