How does this compare with a telemarketing piece like VanillaSoft?

Rod: I've been using VanillaSoft for my team of telemarketers to make appointments for several sales teams, but the costs of VS are bothering me. You've done a superb job of designing a CRM piece for salespeople, and I'd like to know if we can take it into a slightly different direction - telemarketing for teams. In order to replace VanillaSoft or iTMS my team would like: 1- integration with a VOIP system like Skype; 2- predictive dialing (this is less important than the other features); 3- a way for me to assign specific leads to specific users; 4- a way for me to track my users' activities

What I learned about selling today at the fair...well, at the SXSW Guitar Show...

Every year at this time my hometown of Austin, Texas, Live Music Capital Of The World becomes infected with South By Southwest (when hip: South By). Swallows go to Capistrano, scraggly 20 something Japanese gospel punk bands come here. It's wonderful and lively and incredibly engaging for the inanity of it all.

We locals huff and puff about it, but in general The People's Republic Of Austin embraces this chaos and in the spirit of the thing. I toddled downtown for the SXSW Guitar Show. Seen the movie Up? The cranky old Ed Asner character? That's me.
