Is My Sales Data Confidential?

Software On Sailboats has made every effort to insure that the critical sales information in @Cloud databases is private. Access is only through Desktop Sales Office or Mobile Sales Office which eliminates the most serious threat - determined hackers hammering at user/password information from a web browser login screen. Database names are unique and passwords can be changed to protect against competitors and ex-employees.

Is My Sales Data Secure?

@Cloud is built upon Microsoft MySQL database technology for scalability, performance and security. It is hosted by a commercial Tier IV scalable cloud provider that supports Sony, Toyota, Adobe, Warner Brothers, ABC, and others since 1998. For performance reasons Desktop Sales Office also keeps a failsafe copy of your data safely on your PC.

How Does @Cloud Work For Me?

@Cloud helps sole sales professionals, sales teams, and anyone who uses a Windows Mobile smartphone and/or multiple computers. Here are some common scenarios:

Single User: In this example the sole sales rep for Acme Motors - named Mario Andretti - has created a database for his exclusive use. As the owner of every deal and contact in the  AcmeMotors database, he can access everything via Open Everyone's or Open My... since in this case they are the same thing.
Sales Teams: In this example a sales team is sharing access to an @Cloud database FreebirdGuitars. Each team member uses the same database connection information on their computers or mobile phones to connect to the FreebirdGuitars database. Each deal or contact knows it's "owner", so team members download their deals and contacts via Open My... Sales managers use Open Everyone's... and get the big picture.
