Additionally, a directory will be created to hold the standard Templates, and as the default directory for any Templates you might create. The 'Open', 'Save' and 'Save As' routines will all access this directory by default, but you may store your custom Templates in any directory you choose. We recommend using this standard directory, as the Desktop Sales Manager product will attempt to initially find Template files in this directory.
By use of the Template Manager program, you can access these .sos files as the starting point for your modifications by using the Open selection from the File menu item:
This will display the Open File screen and allow you to select a .sos file as your starting point for the changes.
Similarly, once you have finished making your changes, you can choose the Save menu item or the Save button on the main form to save into the original file, or the Save As menu item to select a new Template file for your changes.
Use of the Save As option will allow you to name a new Template file using the standard Save As file window.
